Parents and the Committee
Parental involvement is an essential part of the playgroup ethos. We are represented by an elected committee made up of parents; three officers: Chair, Secretary and Treasurer and up to nine more members.
The Committee is responsible for managing the playgroup’s finances, shopping, maintaining equipment and toys, organising the duty rota, outings and the all-important fundraising!
We are a community playgroup and would be unable to exist without a Committee. Being a member is a great way of getting to know people and making new friends - it is also great fun!

Other ways to get involved
Parents also support the playgroup in many other ways: helping at fundraising events, donating items or even sharing a special skill with the children.
If you have a special skill that you could share with us, for example playing a musical instrument, or have a particular craft skill, we would be delighted to hear from you.
